On September 24th and 25th Rosie D., Sharon L., Ray B., and myself setup and worked a booth at Gulfport’s 3rd Annual Anchor Fest. We each had works on display and had a blast informing the people about the galleria and enjoying the beautiful weather and music.
On Saturday, Sharon demonstrated her watercolor technique and Rosie showed how she creates her Viking weave chains. We handed out a hundred or so rack cards and talked to at least 3 times that amount about the galleria. Each participating artist sold work and viewed it as a successful event.
It was a great community outreach and promotional opportunity and we look forward to participating again next year.
