2020 has brought so many changes. It’s normal to see people wearing masks and keeping their distance, and not being able to see their smiles as they enjoy a happy moment in their day. And, it has changed the way local businesses do business.
The Gulfport Arts Center has been very blessed (yes, we still express it this way in the South, because it means much more to us than just “lucky”) to have a community that loos for ways to support its local businesses, and have supported our efforts. Because of this, we have been blessed with an online store by a grant from the Gulfport Main Street Association and the Gulf Coast Community Foundation. This not only has allowed us to extend our market on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, but to expand it to the world.
And so, to the GCCF and the GMSA, and in particular GMSA President Laurie Toups and coordinator Katherine Sutton, we extend our heartfelt thanks.
